Bomber Command and RAAF in the UK 1939/1945 - 29 June 2017

The Bomber Command Group has now gathered at the Novotel Heathrow for the start of this our 9th such Tour. Most arrived in the UK today but some were in a couple of days earlier.

We dined together in the private dining room before going over the details of the day tomorrow. Over the next two (2) weeks we will be visiting 12 Museums and the Duxford Flying Legends Air Show. For the enthusiast, it couldn't get any better and all are looking forward to our time together.

Tomorrow we have some dedications and presentations in honour of Pilot Officer. John Crossman who died after being shot down during the Battle of Britain. Then we will head back to Chalfont St Giles where he was finally buried in the place where his family came from.

A busy day, with much to do.
